I probably shouldn't complain because this is a good problem to have. We had auditions today for speech - acting and solo musical theatre. I HATE having to tell some kids they didn't make it into the top three to go to Districts. These kids are super talented and I LOVE being their speech coach, but I hate that part of my job.
I get to do that again on Thursday with prose and lit program. I'll have to tell a total of four students they aren't going to Districts and I'm sure they won't make it any easier than today's auditioning kids did.
I have the BEST speech kids ever.
